Hoivakoti Nursing Home
Hoivakoti is a 110-bed Long Term Care Home with private, semi-private and standard accommodation, and two respite beds in four resident home areas, designed to meet the needs of all residents.
A 90-unit apartment building for independent seniors. Apartments are available on a tenant rental basis , including market and geared-to-income (subsidy). One and two bedroom units are available.
Majatalo was built in the style of a typical Finnish home. It is a shared seniors' supportive housing accommodation, providing support to four senior suites on the main floor. The upper floor features a four-suite visitor/family accommodation setting.
A 46-unit unit supportive housing apartment building for seniors who require support services to maintain independence. A supportive housing care plan is offered for a fee to residents. The Main Office is also located in this building.
Rivitalo is a 31-unit Life Lease townhouse project for independent seniors. Units consist of two and three bedroom units with attached garage and patios. Residents live independently with some support services offered upon request. Prices are determined by market value.
Lepokoti Assisted Living Residence
The newest building in the 'continuum of care', Lepokoti features 82 , one and two-bedroom assisted living apartments, resident dining room, 300-person multi-purpose room (available for rent to community groups) and the Oliver G. Korpela Wellness Centre.

Finlandia Village is dedicated to serving mature adults by providing affordable, high quality, comfortable, and secure living accommodations, along with opportunities for social, spiritual, cultural and recreational interaction within an independent, caring community.
Finlandia Village is located in beautiful Sudbury, Ontario overlooking the north shore of Lake Ramsey. There is a full range of housing opportunities and assistance options. Enclosed walkways connect each of the six buildings, affording residents comfort and mobility throughout the entire Village. Trees provide a natural and picturesque setting where you feel right at home.
Minnow Lake Lions donate $1,000 to Finlandia Sisu Foundation.
Members of the Minnow Lake Lions Club, President, Irene Poffley and Shirley Ogilvy delivered a $1,000 donation to the Finlandia Sisu Charitable Foundation last month.
The money will go to senior wellness programs at Finlandia Village.
No public events are planned for March, but please stay tuned for upcoming Spring 2015 events at Finlandia Village.
